I got this XRP robot and started to set it up, and everything was going well. Well, I could easily find the Wi-Fi for the XRP robot on my Mac computer, but then the next day, I couldn’t find it. I refreshed the XRP robot, bought new batteries, and bought a new micro USB cord to use, and nothing worked, so I don’t know what to do.
Since you mention WiFi, am I correct to assume you have set the XRP to be working with the FIRST WPILib programming environment?
Yes, you are correct.
Some of the main reasons that the XRP would no longer be seen as a WiFi access point are:
You are in a location with WiFi blockers. We have seen this at some schools.
The configuration file has been modified or corrupted. When you plug in the XRP to your computer with the USB cable you should see a disk called PICODISK added to your PC. On that disk is the configuration file.
