XRP Differential Swerve Drive Robot

I recently made @jrw4561’s XRP differential drive, and I’m having trouble debugging whether I’m having an issue with PestoLink, my XRP boards, or something else. I can connect to both boards via pestol.ink, but get disconnected once I move the joystick.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

This could be a few issues, without more information here are two that come to mind:

  • What batteries are you using? with only AA batteries, I imagine the robot might be browning out.
  • The XRP boards should be connected over serial wires, are you sure they are connected correctly? Try just getting half the robot to work first, and once that is good, go about connecting the boards with serial.
