I have begun to use C-Cell batteries on my XRP instead of the AAs. I have also begun to watch the lights on the XRP board while testing Autonomous in my test stand. I have added a servo that goes to “mid-point” when the XRP is initialized. If I move the servo to 0 (zero) and then run all four of my drive motors I see the motor controller LED light up. If the batteries are a little weak or I use the AA batteries, every once in a while when the motor controller LED lights up the XRP will reinitialize as noticed by the Blue LEDS that light when initializing the Gyro at boot time. This tells me its a power issue. (what we call a brownout in FRC on the RoboRIO). After the blue lights go out the servo resets to midpoint (90 degrees) as well. That is why I was asking about beiang able to read the battery voltage from the DashBoard like you can on the Romi.
