WiFi connectivity issues when running competitions

We are based in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa. This year we have joined the XRP family via the SpringBots South Africa organization. We are thereof called SpringBots EC (Eastern Cape Region / Province). We have run various workshops and a regional competition, that led up to a National Competiton on the 16th June 2025.

During all these workshops and competitions, the common constraint has been robots and controllers losing WiFi Connectivity. The ultimate problem seems to be the 2.4GHz frequency that the robots operate on.

Is there any guidance that can be offered as to how we can minimize this is future?

Your Feedback will be greatly appreciated.

I was checking out the instagram pages, and it looked like it was a great event. When you say WiFi connectivity I wanted to know in which way you are using the WiFi. Are you using the WPILib programming model, or are you using the XRP Webserver for control? The more information you can give us about your setup the better we can help with a solution.
