Is there another site other than xrp.wpi.edu/staging?

We are currently experiencing connection and interface issues with the XRP platform following updates made to both our laptops and the XRP devices earlier today.

While using the staging platform via USB, we are able to successfully pair the robots. However, the coding interface is not functioning as expected. Specifically, the blocks required to create code are not visible, and neither the activated nor inactivated code sections appear in the workspace. Instead, we are seeing an error message that reads: “Error rendering component.”

We would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter as soon as possible. We are working within a very limited timeframe, with only one week and two days remaining before our end-of-year presentations, and it is critical that students are able to continue their preparation.

We just put up the staging to begin an upcoming beta. From a beta point of view very curious what machine and platform you are on. I would start with the one thing that most don’t want to hear, which is clear your cache.

If you are in a hurry I would say drop to the older version which is not using staging. xrpode.wpi.edu.

Thanks. We’re using xrp.wpi.edu/staging because we are coding with Blockly, and staging is the one that allows us to use the gamepad. We are using Version 1 robot, not Beta I will clear the cache to see if it works. Thanks once again.

Good morning, I cleared the cache, but it is still not working. XRP, or anyone who is knowledgeable about this robot. we NEED HELP!!! This is crunch time before competition day.

The old staging you were using for gamepad support is now the standard XRPCode release. Use XRPCode, not staging.

Good day,

Are there new codes for remote control/gamepad when using xrpcode? We have tried xrpcode.wpi.edu and the gamepad is not connecting wire nor bluetooth

It will only work on Bluetooth. Make sure the xrplib files are up to date. If it is not updating to the latest. You can delete the file /lib/xrplib/version.py then the next time you connect it will update the libraries.

When you attach the gamepad controller and push a button you should see a gamepad icon on the XRPCode menu bar.
