Keep getting "XRP Connecting" message after I paired the XRP

Hello,

I haven’t used any of our XRPs since my last class that I offered some of our local students. Yesterday, I went to use XRP and noticed that after I selected an XRP and paired it, a new window pops up in a loop that keeps printing “Connecting to XRP” and prints a message asking to refresh but that didn’t work. Did something change? I tried with two different laptops and two different XRPs, the same issue.

XRPCode had an update recently, @Fgrossman might be able to help.

We ended up talking this through offline, but the two biggest things for helping these sorts of bluetooth problems are:
1 - Make sure your batteries are fully charged
2 - Make sure your libraries are up to date - this may require using the USB cable to get this done.
These solved their problem.

Hello,

Yes, thanks to Frank, my problem is fixed. The problem was one of the libraries wasn’t updated. The batteries were fully charged. I guess, I assumed that when libraries are updated, I get some kind of a notification when I start XRP using Bluetooth. I used a cable and through COM port, I received a message that XRP needed to be updated and I then updated it.
Frank, thank you again.
