Last year we were able to connect a gamepad to the XRP. This year we can not. The XRP board is having intermittent issues with it’s Websocket over BLE protocol that communicates the controller input to the XRP board for code execution purposes. Using both Blockly and Python programming the XRP only receives controller input after repeated restarts of the program, then returns to a no-communication state with the controller after a code restart. The problem persists with both prior and latest firmware versions, each with their respective XRPLib library versions installed on the board. We tested this on a Mac and PC computer.
