There is a problem with updating Micropython on the XRP using XRPCode when on a mac with OS 14 Sonoma. There seems to be a problem having a browser program writing to the root directory of a removable drive. We are working on the problem and have a work around at the moment.
When XRPCode ask you to select the RPI-RP2 drive for the update, you can create a directory on the drive, such as test, and then select that directory and the update will work fine. Here are some pictures of what that looks like.
