When I connect to my XRP using USB it says that it needs an update. When I select RPI-RP2 it begins to update but then gives me a message saying “Error updating MicroPython. Please try again”. I never “click on ‘Edit Files’ and wait for the XRP to connect” like it says in the instruction message when I start the update.

Thanks for the help!

It seems like It’s a beta unit - XRP-3182c shows up in the top right corner of the XRP code editor

Completely resetting the RPi pico fixed the problem for me.

I used this file (nuke.uf2) to reset the control board - hold down the BOOTSEL button and while doing so quickly press the reset button to make the robot accessible on your computer. then drag and drop nuke.uft into the RPI-RP2 folder

Then reflash the most recent RPi firmware onto the robot by repeating the above process with [MicroPython for the Pico W](https://projects.raspberrypi.org/en/projects/get-started-pico-w/1).

Then after reopening the XRP code editor I was able to successfully update.
